Potatoes USA’s international consumer marketing program continued to help consumers and media around the world see potatoes in a whole new way last year. Potatoes as a diet aid? Check. Potatoes to boost nutrition? Sure. Potatoes for breakfast? Of course. Potatoes as a tasty way to prepare new or local favorite dishes at home? Yes and yes. These and more positive messages were conveyed by the international consumer marketing program, which utilized public relations events, social media, influencer/media outreach and consumer cooking schools during MY 15/16.
