Honduras pg 18

A major chip processor in Honduras gave new meaning to the saying “betcha just can’t eat one” when it introduced a slew of new flavored potato snacks this year made with U.S. chipping potatoes. The popularity of the new products, which are distributed in Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua, helped drive exports of fresh chipping potatoes to this market up 150% to a record 6,467 metric tons during MY14/15. By value, exports jumped 145% to $3.2 million.
