The Potatoes USA international foodservice program inspired culinary professionals around the globe to offer more U.S. potatoes on their menus in more ways than ever before. One of the most important accomplishments recapturing much of the lost market share from the west coast port shutdown in early 2105. Special funding sponsored programs to recoup these sales – prompting some 26 restaurant chains that had resorted to another supplier the previous year to switch back to the U.S.
